Welcome friends!  I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.  Thank you for connecting with me this day.  I hope you find encouragement here.

It’s difficult to face the trials of this life.  We’re in it together, and it is my desire to share with you some hope and joy in the midst of daily family life as well as the harder moments that come everyones way.

Honestly, though! I don’t know what I’m doing…blogging and writing.  I’m by no means an excellent at vocabulary or grammar, but I have a thing or two to share with whoever wants to listen. Hopefully, you’ll know my heart, and realize, though I may make mistakes from time to time, I’m not here to argue, fight or offend people.  I’m writing to love.

I don’t know EXACTLY the content that it going to be in here…but you can expect to find things about my faith, family and maybe some food from time to time.  I love to find ways to make motherhood a little easier because, let’s face it, being a mommy is hard work and many of us don’t have the supports we’d like to have.  So, I might share some things that are working for us.  One of my desires is to see young moms embrace the mothering journey and know that they are more than capable with the help of the Holy Spirit.

So…please join me on this incredible, beautiful  journey to remember that no matter the trials that come….(oh, this is not easy to say)…we can consider it pure JOY, because in the end, it produces more than what we could ask for.  Trials give us contentment in the end.  If you don’t have contentment, the trial is not over.  Healing must continue.

And…good news.  Jesus is in the healing business.  He’s really easy to connect with too.

Love you all,

A Healing Day at the Atlantic Ocean.  After we lost our 2nd son due to complications with Trisome 18 in January, the calls of summer and the ocean brought healing to us all in 2014.  I’m still thankful for this day, 2 years later.  This is my 1st son, who needed healing in his 3 year old heart as well.

My dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.  For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.  So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

James 1:2-4

  1. Always enjoy your perspective on mothering even though my children are grown. I have been blessed to have a granddaughter to love and be a part of her life journey!

  2. You were always known for your beautiful soul and calming presence so I thank you for continuing your journey for all to heal and be present with you.

    Thank you for writing,

    Sarah Butland

  3. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view,
if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before. http://www.yahoo.net
